One of the four lead organisations of the Coalition for Marriage, Marriage Alliance, today launched a campaign handbook which is available to download for Download Handbook For Free.
Backed up with domestic and international examples, the book outlines ten key consequences of changing the Marriage Act and provides answers to common arguments made by the ‘yes’ campaign.
Coalition for Marriage spokesman Damian Wyld said changing the Marriage Act would affect all Australians, their families and communities.
“Many parents are concerned about their rights as radical LGBTIQ sex and gender education classes become more widespread and even compulsory. Australian parents have a right to know how a change in the marriage law will affect what their kids are taught at school.
“Changing our marriage laws also gives license to activists who will weaponise anti-discrimination laws to target those who hold to the current definition of marriage. Leaders in the gay movement have already sought to use anti-discrimination commissions to target religious figures who have spoken out against same-sex marriage.
“This book outlines what people need to know before they compete the same-sex marriage postal survey.
“I encourage every Australian to get online, get informed, and have a conversation with their families, friends and neighbours. It’s ok to say no,” concluded Mr Wyld.
